    The Final chapters.

So much to squeeze in, so much detail, so much dialogue. I originally intended for the battle for Canterlot to be a one chapter tale. Now, its looking like three, maybe even four good sized chapters. The next of which will be up in the next day or two, its content complete, just need to do a few editing and continuity passes, make sure everything lines up as it should. It's amazing how this

    The Voice of Behemoth

    Update.

Recently, my computer suffered a catastrophic windows failure that corrupted ALL data on both of my hard drives. As a result, I lost progress on three separate stories, including the almost complete, undergoing final editing finale of TBTPTD. As stroke-enducingly annoying as this event was, it turned out to be a sort of blessing in disguise.

    Just a friendly PSA.

If there are any of you lovely people who followed me from when I was still posting on PFA, it seems that site has lost any semblance of its security. For your own sake, I'd stick to this site if you want to read my assorted literary madness.

It happens, and has happened again. As a result, I'm going to fire off another one off story to get my mind working again. Either another clop-tastic bit of shenaniganery akin to Guard Duty from Behemoth's early days in the Guard, or a more light hearted, family friendly piece providing a little more fleshing out to the Derpy/Behemoth, and Behemoth/Luna relationships. Let me know which idea of those two appeals to you more.

MORE CLOP!

In my humble opinion, the one you choose should be based on where you're stuck at. I haven't read the latest chapter of "The Beast" (I know, I'm slacking) yet, but depending on where you are stuck at, it might help to spawn some stories that have a tie in to what you are working on.

So, without being mildly cryptic, I say go for the light-hearted ones, unless you need to get behind the curtain for something.

Haven't read it yet?!:pinkiegasp:
How do you expect to find the true meaning of life without studying every word, nay, every syllable of this miraculous tome?!?!
But in all seriousness, both of the above options are polar opposites from what I'm struggling with. Polar opposites in some strange system that has three poles, but I digress. Either light hearted comedy or good old fashioned cloppy goodness like ma used to make will be a serious change from the heavy darkness that has permeated the last few chapters, as well as at least the current stretch of this one. While it makes for a great story, if I may humbly say so, occasionally that kind of writing needs to be broken up by something less...psychotic.:pinkiecrazy:

Well, in that case, if you have time:

Both the clop and the family fun-time. The only catch is making a combined version family friendly, so, as I may have said before, go with the comedic family one if you must choose imho. :pinkiehappy:
