Some very good news!
Just now, I just went through the last major edits of Return to Flight: Relaunch. It's all done. There's nothing more I want to alter with story or dialogue.
That being said, I still need another round of edits for grammar, spelling and a touch of polish. It sounds rather easy but I'll put it in perspective. The current and original Return to Flight is around 62K words. The final number for this revised version will fluctuate with minor fixes but as of now, the new story is a little over 92K.
There is no possible way I can handle another editing round. I've let Crush sit too long and I need to get back into the groove of writing that. Now, I've gone through a slew of editors over the years and regrettably, reliability/turnover has been such a problem that I fear having to ask again for help. I don't have much of a choice, though.
The bottom line is that I need an editor that will actually edit the entire fic by a set deadline. Crush Chapter 4 depends on it. Serious commitments only, please.
Edit: Brayside Crush Chapter 3 will come out September 19th.
