All that Rainbow Dash wanted was a quiet and relaxing trip to Brayside Beach along with her friends. Instead, they are all pulled into the middle of frenzied preparations for an upcoming festival. Despite the new friendships and rivalries forming around her, she finds herself focused on Swift Flying, the stallion she met months ago. Since then, they've experienced hardships and great times but under the summer sun, they discover whether friendship is all they truly share.

That ending was fantastic! I have to admit,I didn't know Blossom was the filly that Swift saved from the bullies and I REALLY didn't know she and Swift used to almost be together.
I hope Blossom and Twilight will be able to solve their little 'debate' soon because it doesn't look so pretty now xD

I kinda like how Blossom is coddling Spike. Little guy deserves more of that, rather than a stray nuzzle or pat on the head on random occasion. At least he has his own bedroom, as we have seen in season 5.
6019428 Twilight does care for Spike; she just goes about it a different way. Yes, she can be demanding at times but I believe she does it so that Spike grows up with a higher degree of maturity and work ethic.
Blossom, she's more of a nurturing type. That and she adores anything cute and adorable. Finally, emotions drive her more than logic which can be detrimental. Spike sees that and has good reason to be scared. XD

6195881 For least getting teased about being an item, it's somewhere over 15 throughout the series. Believing they already are, it's only the minor characters that think that way.
6196813 In the original draft for this chapter, Leo was warning Swift about a Leviathan that soon starts attacking the pier. It would take out Rainbow as she tried grabbing her plushie. Swift would get roughed up shielding her but refuses to move. Eventually, I had Blossom riding atop Blitz to take on the Leviathan. I got that far before realizing how preposterous it all sounded and that in the grand scheme of things, had little impact on the story.
I can reveal that there will be attempts at "convincing" but it won't involve giant seagulls.
