My activities, summed up in a lot of words · 10:42pm Aug 28th, 2014
Okay so, just a quick heads up to let you know what it is I'm doing.
I now have a group! Join the Society That is Bloody Fed Up With Scoota-chicken Jokes! We have T-Shirts.
Next Follower Milestone: 13/50
Current story focus: Mostly focusing on Kicked, because I really need to update that.
It's 2015 now? Blimey, that came about fast.
The next chapter of Kicked has been... altered. I've changed the theme slightly (a lot), so that now I'm focusing more on Scootaloo as an individual, using her relationship with Sweetie as more of a driving force for her recovery. I want to throw some challenges at her, just to see if she can overcome them, and to develop her more as a character. Technically she isn't my character, she's Hasbro's, but she's my take, and I want to develop her a bit.
Okay, sorry for not getting this chapter up on Monday, as promised. I've been so bogged down by work recently and I've barely had a moment to myself. Well, better late than never, I suppose. It's up now, anyway. Sorry again for not updating soon enough, like I said I would. As previously mentioned, this chapter is a lot shorter than the others, but I hope that, having read it, you'll understand why I kept it short. This chapter is something a little different, in that it's not so heavily focused on Bucky. I thought it was about time that you learnt a little more about somepony else.
A Train to Equestria was a bit of a gamble (as is pretty much anything to do with the Nazis). Still, I'm pleased to see it doing well. World War 2 is a real inspiration for me because of the diversity of topics to choose from! It is a risk, yes, but if you know the time period well enough then you can do something great with it. Me? I've been studying WW2 for almost my entire life, and I'm fascinated by the Third Reich (but I'm not a Nazi!). With this story I did something a little weird... I set it in France. Now, I don't hate France, it's a nice country, but it would never be my go to choice for a story about WW2. No, usually I would set it in either Germany or Russia, but I'm glad I chose France as a setting. Hope you guys are too!
That's all I have to say at the moment, and from now on I won't be posting author's notes unless it's about a serious issue. From now on, those will be posted here under subheadings. Just to keep the flow of stories going! If you want to read what each chapter was about, come here to read what would have been in the author's notes. So I'll conclude by saying that you're not reading this any more, are you? You likely can't pay attention to something like this for very long. I reckon you just scrolled down to the bit that most concerned you, read it, then buggered off. If you are still reading this, then well done, because you are clearly more attentive than others, and clearly you are actually interested in what I have to say. So good for you, you attentive little bastard, I am proud of you. Have a medal. Actually, don't have a medal, they're expensive and I can't afford any. Just get yourself a biscuit or something. Anyway, if you're still reading after I told you to leave and get a biscuit, then maybe you're one of those people that would like to follow me, or maybe you're just a perfectionist. Or maybe you just have nothing better to do, or maybe you're procrastinating. If the latter, get back to work, you lazy shit!
Tally ho, my Teqnicians! (Love you all!)
