As is pretty clear from all the blank boxes and such in my profile, I'm new here. *waves* Hi everypony.
In fact, I'm fairly new to fanfiction in general. Before I got into MLP: FiM, I was leery of the entire concept. I was convinced that if there was even a single story out there that was worth reading, it would be buried beneath piles and piles of complete drivel that weren't. I'm not sure what there was about this fandom that convinced me to give it a chance anyway, but I'm glad it did. In the past few weeks I have read some truly great, truly entertaining stories on this site and on other pony-fiction sites.
So I have decided to dip my foot in the water and become a part of this community. I look forward to the times and experiences I will share with you all in the weeks and years to come.
But, being new, I could use some help getting started. I have a short fic that I would like to post, but first I would like to get a beta reader for it so I can make sure that my first impression here is a good one. If I can get some help on the rules and procedures for the story thumbnail pictures, too, I would be most appreciative.
