On all stories, there is a drop down menu to the right of the characters that are in the story (bottom to the left)

There is a button that says statistics. I have been watching for the last week as I got closer to 1000. I thought I had a few more left, but when I checked I saw that glorious number. It made even happier than I was at the end of Game of Thrones season 4 (and that is saying something.)
