hardy sure has a strange way of gathering allies. even with crazy kungfu taxi drivers and carnivorous undersized rookies, he has transvestite sea serpents with prostitute ninjas, blue and orange morality hive mind insects, a group of rather slightly insane gang bangers who go by some zebra religion, and an old and rather noble if largely morally ambiguos zebra scholar and his adopted unicorn son with far too large an obsession with things sharp and or pointy.
next thing we know his next buddies are gonna be the dragon that sasucy forced to chew off her own wings, a nigthmare forces infected unicorn studxent of luna who helped the dragon regrow her wings, a changelign queen nymph that thinks hardy is part changeling, and perhaps an ancient alicorn who has connections to all this madness but was entrapped in the shape of a leg lamp ala christmas story for several thousands of years.
