[WHHD/all] I should probably do more blog posts and stuff, so here's one concerning my writing speed and WHHD... Yeah. · 5:17pm Aug 15th, 2014

So...
I hate it when I love a story and the author is a lazy ass and doesn't update often. Reading is my passion and when I find a good story, I can't do anything else. I breathe, I eat, and I drink for that story. The story is love. The story is life.
And now I am guilty of the same crime. Apart from being a lazy ass, I have a legitimate reason why the updates are so damn slow and little.
I am not a native English speaker. I know, I know, not really a great reason because there are authors out there that put their time on the line even if their English ain't so great. But I have a little problem with it. When I write, I imagine the scenes in my head as they would go, I imagine the details and really all that's happening. Then comes the part where I transfer these scenarios onto the paper, and herein lies the problem. I can't. I don't know how.
As I'd said, I love reading. I read all the time, and it made me a more skilled and knowledgeable and whatnot author, but I seem to have hit some sort of barrier. It's like I am unable to learn new things, or learn new things really slowly. And it's so damn frustrating. I want to write things, but I just can't do it because I don't know all the rules and forms and corners of the English language, and because of it I can't write how I want to write. It's so frustrating. I have to dabble with what I know, and the scenes that would otherwise be beautiful result in a lot of "I's sentences" and "Telling, not showing".
This, in turn, results in me taking a lot of breaks to deal with the built up frustration.
I know that you probably don't care about the reasons, but I felt I had to get it out of the system. Also, yay, blog posts!
