Moonlight's Update Schedule · 10:16pm Aug 7th, 2014
Just wanted to throw this up for anyone wondering when the new updates will be coming for my latest story. Well, in general, updates are written more on a "spur of the moment" than anything else right now, when I get inspiration to continue the story, which is largely mapped out in my head. Now, in some ways this could be bad because a hard couple of weeks means no new chapters, but on the other hand a good week could mean one or two or even three new chapters. It'll just go on how much inspiration I have at the time.
For those new to reading my stuff, in the past I used to write on a strict schedule...which never actually worked. So now, I'm just going to write Moonlight when I'm in love with it and keep quiet on it when I don't. This means an irregular update schedule, buuuuuuuut all the actual updates are labors of love, when I have lots of inspiration and ideas, so overall the story is going to end up a lot better.
And, well, that's all I have to say about that. Thanks for reading!
Hey, if it works it works. I'm good with irregular but higher quality updates. I'd much rather you do this and manage to finish the story and feel good about it than push yourself too hard and burn out.
that's a good thing. It's a lot better if you will write it when you feel like it.
Hammering out a chapter to meet some sort of schedule never seemed to work for me either, so just work on it when you're in the right mind set.
Only problem I have when writing this style is my mind keeps thinking of how to write the next major event rather then the next chapter building up to it. Looking forwards to next race in my Wonderhawks story, but need to get the characters there first :P
