oh god why does editing take so long its been an hour already and im only done a thousand words how long is this going to take lord save me
I'm probably doing it the hardest way possible though after updating my editing method. I have a text-to-speed program that reads every single word for me so that I can easily see and hear any grammatical errors that I may have misplaced in the text. Is the reading slow? Yes, yes it is. But at least now I don't miss any mistakes. Unless, of course, I completely re-write a section due to crappiness (which happens most of the time during dialog), but that doesn't happen too often. My editing is a combination of re-writing what I've written and touching up mistakes here and there, but isn't ever edit like that?
But yeah, the next chapter is coming soon. I'm aiming for this week or so.
