Okay, so! Unfortunately, while I understand why, I wasn't able to include my slightly-edited version of the song that primarily inspired me to start writing The Death of Perfection. That, my dear friends, is mostly why I'm posting this. I find it super tacky to include YouTube videos in stories, so I'm posting one here instead! Mwuhahahahaha!
Elektrik People, Make Me a Bird
So, with minor tweaks (namely, filly/mare instead of boy/girl, violet/magenta replacing blue/green, and all feminine pronouns), I totally, whole-heartedly believe that this is Twilight' and Celestia's song. And, thus, a story was born! Plus, I've never found a fanfiction that depicted Celestia in quite the way I hope she is, not to say that I don't absolutely love those stories. I just . . . I don't know, I want to write something in the way of how I see our beloved solar princess.
Hmm. I can't think of anything else I feel like I need to say, so I suppose this will be an awfully short journal. At least, nothing that relates to Twilestia or my story is coming to mind. Outside of that, I'd just like to say that I've been absolutely floored by all of the favorites and up-votes I've received since posting my first chapter. It definitely surprised me, and I can't say how much the support means to me. Truly, our fandom, bronies and pegasisters, is an amazing thing. You all are the most incredible fans I've ever known. 
I'll do my best to write on everyone's user pages or, alternatively, send a PM for every favorite I receive, but there have already been a lot of them. As much as I hate to admit it, I am only human, and prone to mistakes; I'm probably going to miss one or two people. So, in case my prediction comes true, thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Seriously.
Finally, if anyone wants to chat, whether it be about my story, my writing, or just me, personally, I am happy to oblige! I love to meet new people, and please don't hesitate to leave me comments on my page or PM me.
