Antagonists for Rainbow Rocks

Okay, I saw both the new trailers for the new EQG movie, and I gotta say I enjoyed it. The three new girls introduced are Adagio Dazzle in the middle, Sonata Dusk on the left, and Aria Blaze on the right.

Adagio is the leader, but all three of them have an interesting power. They seem to be able to control people with their singing, much like Greek sirens in mythology.

So, let's examine them really quickly.

Now, I haven't seen absolutely everyone in EQG, but other than Celestia and Luna, Aria is the only girl I've seen who wears pants! Gotta give Apple Bloom and Scootaloo credit for their shorts, though. That aside, I like how they have the appearance of pop stars. This ties in with their song, which has a pop feel to it, with a bit of rock later on. I liked the song despite the pop feel (I'm not normally one for pop) and it just proves that you don't need autotune on everything. XD The three girls appear very sure of themselves, and I'm gonna go so far as to say Adagio is quite smug. They've got the kind of personality I'd expect from an overarching theme like Battle of the Bands.

Yay for Octavia wearing Mary Janes in a world filled with boots!!!

Still need to see EQG to see if it's really as bad as this fandom claims... But I may enjoy this, seeing as how I started watching this whole G4 franchise to begin with.
