Inspiration

Hey all!

My very first posting here was a short one shot with an original character that I came up with. The OC's name is Storming Shield, and if you click that, it will take you to the one shot. Now, let me explain why I am making a post about this.

I used that one shot to kind of introduce him, and his travelling companion. I had a sort of sequel in mind, but I've been struggling with how best to pull off what I had first envisioned. This happens to me a lot. I begin writing a story, and as I'm writing, I start to hate what I've written. I start feeling like it's forced, and it will just be the worst thing ever written in the history of this website. I am, by nature, a shy person, and it takes a lot in me to share with you all what I have written. I feel that my writing has improved massively since I first posted Storming Shield. Even from the first chapter of Dreams of Loss, to the newest chapter, I think my writing has gotten somewhat better.

I'm so glad that Dreams of Loss, The Cave, and The Letter were so well received. Thank you all for the support on those stories. It means a lot.

Back to the topic at hand. Inspiration has struck, and I think I have finally pinned down the direction I want to take my second multi-chapter story. I'm thinking it might go down to a darker place, and, language wise, be a little bit more mature in nature. As far as I can tell, from how I've got the start written out, there may not be romance in this one or maybe there will be... xD
