It is Wednesday: What Comes Next · 6:53am Jun 6th, 2012
It is Wednesday.
I have decided to get an early start today. It is Wednesday when it is Wednesday, so no one is allowed to complain.
In random news, "The Block Is Hot" is an episode of The Boondocks that I thought was eerily relative to bronies. Could just be me. Maybe just because ponies were mentioned over and over, buuuuuut who's to say. It was aired in 2006, so any relevance to brony culture is unintentional.
ANYWAY,
I wrote this thing called "When Harmony Was Forged". People seemed to like it. People reacted exactly how I thought they would, and that pleases Tiffany. The story itself was planned over a long period of time. To be done with it so quickly wouldn't sparkle with me, but I'll get to that later.
Will I write more stuff like "When Harmony Was Forged"? You bet your britches. Don't wear britches? THE HECK IS WRO-
SO,
It is official, Lugnut is ending. After much deliberation, I've settled on an ending. The next chapter will require a bit of a wait, but I guarantee it'll be awesome.
So, now that I don't have to plan Lugnut, I have a little gap in my life/soul/whatever. I've got Cocoon, but that's planned so far ahead I would be lying if I said I need plenty of time for it. I've already put my free time to good use by attempting to come up with my next series. I have two and I am torn between them. I know one of them would be a lot of fun and I would really enjoy writing it. The other has the potential to be rewarding and really good, but it'll be difficult to plan and write. If you think I value your opinions or something, I'd like to hear from you would like to see come to light.
Don't Do Good, Do Better
It's a working title, another option is The Tryst. This would be a sequel to Big Lugnut, believe it or not. The focus would be off Lugnut, but as most of these shippin' sequels go, OCs will rule here. In this story, Ponyville has transformed into a bustling city. A young pegasus, who will not be named at this time, come to Ponyville to do the only job he can get. He is brash, arrogant, a borderline criminal, and dumber than dirt. A great protagonist, right? He has redeeming traits, but so does everyone else. He manages to get himself in a deal of trouble on his first night in town, trouble that involves a mare. The story will be one of coming of age as our protagonist travels the road to maturity, whatever that may be. Overall, it'll be a lighthearted romantic comedy, but I think it would involve some pretty serious subject matter.
A Still More Excellent Way
Not a working title, so I'm not budging on it. This would be a series to follow up When Harmony Was Forged. The plot revolves around an Equestria that has been struck by disaster. I don't know what the disaster is yet, but refugees make their way into Ponyville. Six in particular (even Stevie Wonder can see where this is going) take up residence with the mane 6. What happens next? Conflict, conflict everywhere. This story will be dark, dealing with truly heavy issues and perceived to be heavy issues. Just like When Harmony Was Forged, it'll call into question what Harmony is. The difference? This story will be drawn out and point to specific issues. The beast you love all grown up.
As it stands, I'm feeling the first... no the second... no... um... yeah I've basically got no idea. It will probably come down to the one I have a more awesome idea for. Maybe I'll combine them... somehow...
ENOUGH ABOUT ME THOUGH,
I'm trying to get into this Griffin the Griffin story by BlackWing. It's really, really, really long which is one of my big turn-offs. Since I'm writing a HiE, I'm trying to read more of them to get an idea of why everyone complains they are all the same. I think I might be reading the wrong ones.
Yeah, this Griffin kid though, he has got problems. One of them is he talks way too much. He's pretty opposite to Cocoon. Cocoon wants out, Griffin wants in. That's the long and short of it. I imagine if the two ever met, they wouldn't get along... ha ha ha... ha ha ha... HA HA H-
IN CONCLUSION,
Everything is awesome, return to your homes. I'm gonna go write some stuff about ponies.

Is that the rumblings of a crossover I see?
Please for the love of god and all that is sacred, do the When Harmony Was Forged sequel! Your backstory to the Elements of Harmony are the best I've ever read and more story to that would be epic!
Do it.
You know you want to.
You can't resist.
The temptation.
So accept it.
Give in.
And surrender your will.
