At the Inn of the Prancing Pony: My Apologies for the Delay · 5:27am Jul 16th, 2014
As you may have noticed, I had planned to post a rather ambitious blog post to accompany Chapter 5. I had in fact planned to delay posting Chapter 6 until that post was complete. Unfortunately, my chosen topic proved far too ambitious for me to tackle in light of the recent diplomatic crisis.
(Oh, and do not believe the mangled version of events that most human news organizations have peddled. I merely rescued the gryphon hatchling. I did not smoke the kidnappers out with fire and brimstone. That was Ivan's handiwork. [Handiwork...I'm pretty sure I used that word correctly...])
So it turned out that the true history of the terrorist/philosophical network known as the New Lunar Republic was a bit harder to disentangle from the official accounts than I initially thought. I will try to get that essay out eventually, but I will not allow it to delay the publication of chapters for At the Inn of the Prancing Pony. In fact, Chapter 6 should be out by the time you've finished reading this sentence.
