"Diamond! What's wrong! Say something!" I shouted, tears in my eyes as I watched my best friend continue to hold her chest, clenching it like it was on fire.
"Sil... ver..." she muttered before she gave out one final gasp and fell down, collapsed face first.
I stood still. Everypony stood still, even Miss Cheerliee stood still.
"Diamond?" I asked. No answer. I shook her but she was still limp. Tears were starting to forum in my eyes. "D-diamond... this isn't funny..."
I slowly turned her over. Her eyes were shut as her tongue lopped out of her mouth. I couldn't see her chest moving up or down and I heard no breathing.
"D-Diamond?"

then she reanimated as a pony zombie and began to fuck the world over....
The Cutie Mark Crusaders watched as their flanks flashed white. Instead of being blank, Apple Bloom got her cutie mark In bloody murder, Scootaloo in assassination, and Sweetie Belle in poison.
Everypony just stared.
"PARTY AT SUGARCUBE CORNER!" shouted Snips and Snails simultaneously.
And the entire crowd erupted into cheers and celebration.

"Diamond!?"
I slapped her across the face and she gaaasped a lungful of air.
"Oh, thank Celestia!" I let go and she flopped to the ground. "I was..."
"...let me die..." Her voice was faint. "...let me die..."
"Diamond?"
She raised herself up on a hoof.
"Why? Why didn't you let me die!?" She heaved a great sob. "Oh, Celestia, let me become a stone, that I may no longer see or hear or think..."
"I don't understand! What are you talking about?"
"I saw them...Dad...Dad and Mom...I saw...everything." She rose to her feet. "Find me a cliff! A really tall tree! Set me on fire! Anything!"

I placed my hooves on her chest, applying pressure down on her chest. ''Well, she's dead unless we get her some medical assistance.''
Silver Spoon "Wake up Diamond. I can't lose you like I lost my brother, now get up and start breathing or I will go to the afterlife and drag you back."
Diamond Tiara (Gasp of air) "S-silver? Is that you? All around me was darkness and then I saw a light and heard you calling me. Thank you Silver." (Tears start forming) "Thank you for bringing me back. And you blank flanks, I mean Crusaiders, can you forgive me for being a mean selfish bully of a brat? I know I probably don't deserve it, but thats all I ask."
Applebloom "If you stop acting like you used to I guess I can forgive you."
Sweetie Belle "Me too."
Scootaloo "I'm not so sure, but for now let's just see.
Diamond Tiara "Thank you girls.I promise to try."
Cherilee came over to me and, after giving me a quick, sympathetic look, reached over to check Diamond Tiara's pulse.
"She's dead," Cherilee proclaimed.
And there was much rejoicing ('YAY')
Suddenly, Diamond Tiara's eyes fluttered open. Her chest expanded explosively as she heaved a gasp. Her eyes searched around frantically until they found Silver's.
"Silver," she hissed, still trying to get her breathing under control.
"Y-yes," I whimpered, barely able to contain my tears. I'd never been so frightened in my life.
"S-Silver..." repeated Diamond, "Y-your earrings...Th-they don't go with y-your necklace at all." She fainted once again.
"What?" Suddenly I felt like dropping her and leaving her there.
it seems the CMC finally had there revenge. i had a way to put this into a continued story version, but i'm being hounded to do the dishes.
Suddenly, Diamond's body seized. Inequine screams came from her throat as she convulsed on the floor. Silver Spoon stood, rooted to the spot by terror, as dark flames erupted from under her friend's skin, searing away the coat, the skin itself, and then muscle. The screams did not stop, even after Diamond's throat had been consumed by the flames.
After several minues, the fire has stopped, as did the screams. Silver still could not bring herself to move as the thing before her, the creature of bone and gleaming blue metal, stood up and stretched. Red eye sockets stared into her soul.
"I AM SOVEREIGN. AND THIS WORLD. IS. MINE!"

Silence overtook the ponies at the Hay Burger, tears caressing some of the petrified faces. The lack of music took its toll on the onlookers, as some of them croak and sniff under their breath. Silver Spoon is paralyzed in place, unable to move as she could only remember her friend's desperate shriek.
~"Silver Spoon! Watch out!!!" was all she heard before being pushed out of the way, allowing the full blunt of the skidding carriage to hit Diamond's frail body.~
Silver continues to make small gasps, trying to formulate words, but could only screech in agony. Her pained cry woke the audience from their fright, as the mass scattered. Silver Spoon could only hug her dead friend glued in place.

Silver Spoon let's out a long drawn-out sigh as she trots over the still forms of Diamond and Bloom. She towered over them. Staring down with tears no more.
"YOU IDIOTS!"
Without warning she rears up and slams her front legs onto the back spines of both Diamond and Apple Bloom. Upon impact of her mighty stomp, AB and Diamond's eyes and mouths shot wide, several objects jettisoned from their mouths at blinding speeds and ricocheting off the walls of the classroom..
"SILVER SPO-hurk"
Scootallo pointed at laughed at Sweetie Belle's expense, "HAHAHA-ulk!*
Silver Spoon let out a small groan before leaving the two now concious and gasping and near crippled forms of Diamond and Bloom.
Diamond Tiara's eyes were in the back of her head, but with all her might she willed her mouth to utter the words...
"Be..st...tw-o outta three?"

Then the room exploded around me.
Panicked cries and screams rang out all around me as the classroom turned into a melee. Some of my classmates rushed for the door, falling over themselves in a rush to escape; others just ran around in circles, or simply curled up under their desks, as if they could simply hide from the world. I remember Cheerilee's voice somewhere among the maelstrom, trying desperately to bring some order to chaos wrapped in death.
I simply stood there, frozen in place like a statue while the world moved around and through me in slow-motion. The constant bumps from fleeing ponies, the shrill cries for help that pierced my ears... All of it seemed to exist in a vacuum. At that moment, my world had been shattered, reduced to myself, and the lifeless body of my only friend.
Time suddenly came rushing back as I felt somepony grab me and begin dragging me away. I dug my hooves into the wooden floor, as if leaving this spot would sever my only lifeline. A sense of vertigo hit me as I was lifted off the floor and draped over somepony's back. I tried to scream; I tried to kick, flail, anything to keep me from leaving, but the dizziness quickly swamped my broken mind.
In an almost cruel irony, the last thing I saw before falling into the bleak darkness were three smiling yellow flowers.
"OH MY CELESTIA! THEY KILLED DIAMOND!" Apple Bloom yelled as everyone ran over to where the dead foal was. "THOSE BASTARDS!" Scootaloo yelled.

A vengeful Silver Spoon spent the next several months demanding that her parents and their lawyers track down the pony that took her best friend away from her. Eventually, they found the perpetrator, only for him to say that it was the Capony Family who hired him to do it.
From then on, Silver Spoon trained to become a demon detective, hacking her way through Manehattan's criminal underworld; for the only way she could avenge her friend was to bring every last one of the Caponys to justice.
