I'm bored. So, without further ado... Cliches for the Doctor Whooves genre. All of these I have seen in several fanfics, good or bad (unfortunately mostly bad). Could be made into a deadly drinking game if you wanted to.

Sins against literature and Doctor Who that appear way too often:

( ) Doctor/Time Lord has/uses annoying catchphrase too often, usually starting with an "a"
( ) Doctor/Time Lord is annoying as hell, with little personality outside catchphrases and arrogance.
( ) Literally rips off lines from Doctor Who (Unless they are exactly "ponified" scenes or after a rap battle)
( ) The Doctor cannot stop the Rainbow Factory, despite that being his job (He totally can and should, btw)
