another update. a sadder one.

Well people, I tried doing something new to me, and that something new was writing two stories at the same time. I can't. I've been slogging along with "The Second Battle of Cloudsdale for two months and still haven't managed a chapter. But then, two days ago, I started writing "Manifest Destiny" again.

And it was so easy. two days, and almost one thousand words (and a good one thousand at that!) are down. Characterization is better and easier, I know what's going to happen next. Writing Manifest Destiny just seems natural, and writing "The Second Battle of Cloudsdale" just seems forced.

So "The Second Battle of Cloudsdale" is Cancelled. I'm not going to put up the somewhat complete new chapter because, well, its canceled. from here on in all of my focus goes into "Manifest Destiny" like it should have from the start. I'm sorry to everyone for making you wait, and I'm sorry to readers of TSBoC for maybe getting hopes up.

Maybe this time next month I'll have another chapter up. God, I hope so.
