This isn't going to be a giant essay about how much I dislike myself like the last blog post was, but if you want, you can still imagine us all drinking a beer around a fireplace like the last time. If nothing makes sense now, I'd like to blame the giant fucking headache I got brewing in the top of my skull right now.
So lately, I've been intrigued by various other shippity ships within the fandom. Oh, you want a specific one? How about TwiDash. For the past couple of days, every single time I hop on FimFiction, I've gone straight to the TwiDash group to read more. It's like a fucking itch that just won't go away. In fact, I started writing a TwiDash story just to get it out of my system, but now that I've told you that, I will probably not finish it. Oh well.
The funny thing is, I planned this story of mine out to be TwiDash. I have read nothing but TwiDash. I was going to write TwiDash. Keep in mind I never once understood this pairing, and I still don't, but for some inexplicable reason I am drawn to it. So I sit down with my plans and my thoughts and some time to myself and what do I get? AppleSparkle. Somehow, that sneaky AJ just leaped into the story and swept Twilight off of her feet so Dash can sit alone in the library eating chocolates.
After this little experiment, I'm unsure what to do. Should I press on so that it IS TwiDash and try a different pairing or do I stick to my OTP (as you internet people call it) and finish the story as AppleSparkle? Either way, for some odd reason I am able to respect the people who can switch up the pairings a little more.
God that sounds pathetic. Excuse me while I tell you that I would laugh and drink some of that beer right now.

A semi-reliable source told me that it meant "one true pairing." Which I HOPE means a pairing that you like the most? I should've looked that up afterwards.
I guess you could try reading many different parings until you're sure on which one is your otp then

I have, but the problem is that I like AJ and Twilight too much to deviate. Maybe I will push through with that TwiDash draft just to see if I can do it.
