At long last. Firstly, I'd like to thank BradtheBrony, Rough_Draft, and KillerRobotQuote for helping me make the new chapter look good and hopefully the ones to come!
Now, I'd like to confirm that the new update schedule is indeed every Saturday now as opposed to Monday. Why did I change it you ask? Well, it seemed like the sensible thing to do, since most people either work or have school during the week and don't always have time to read big chapters on a Monday night. Also, it just seemed fitting. I updated on Mondays during RvB's off season and now that it's back and MLP is on its off season, changing it to Saturday just makes sense!
As for the consistency of these updates, I fear that as we get deeper into Act 2, we may not see as many weekly updates as we had in Act 1. This is mainly because Act 2 is already proving much harder to write than Act 1. Some of my ideas for this Act aren't as fully developed as Act 1 was and it may take more time to get some of them to work. I'll probably have a "mid-season break" once we're about halfway through Act 2 (Part 5 or so) to further refine some ideas.
One last thing I've been thinking about: I realize it's been a while since we ended Act 1 and a lot of you probably don't remember every single little plot thread that was left unresolved from the first 11 chapters. I know I have trouble remembering every important detail of the stories I follow if enough time between updates has passed. So my question to you, the readers is: should I do a recap? Some kind of "previously on" thing that precedes every update? I can either put this segment at the beginning of the chapters themselves or make separate blog posts so that people who do have crazy good memory can just ignore them and get straight to the story.
Let me know in the comments! WHOAAAGHLIIDFHSKJBV!!!!
As one of your editors, I say if you do a recap, have Caboose give it... Out loud.... While they are at Sweet Apple Acres with the Reds... Oh, the awkward moment THAT would be lol
The previously on blog posts Idea has some merit. Just today a story updated where all the characters where reacting to a bombshell cliffhanger that happened in a chapter released last year. It being in a blog post has the advantage in that someone binge reading your story doesn't have to deal with them.
Yes! My favorite story on this site is back! Keep up the good work man, this story is amazing.
Having the previously on before each chapter might be a little tiring for one, mainly because it is in written form. I'd suggest to make a blogpost with the recap of Arc 1 and add the link just before the beginning of Arc 2, that's what I would do.
PS: That GIF is hilarious
