Hello loyal fans of the story! I want to let you know Jake and I are very hard at work on the story, the current chapter we are working on is one of the toughest yet because of all the talents, which is the reason for this blog.

Would you guys like the next chapter to be a three prater of all the talents? It would be four stallions at a time because as we all know 4 times 3 is twelve...or something. The reason why we ask this is because I have only written so far for the first three and it is already 4000 words! Yikes! That is a long chapter in itself, and if I was to write all of them in one chapter it would be 20k+! Now, I am sure that would be okay for a lot of you, but just remember how long it takes us to update, and we still need to have people edit for us.

So the question is, would you guys mind the next chapter being a three part chapter, or do you want it all at once? I will continue to work on the chapter with Jake, and if its the three part I will hope to maybe have it out in a week maybe, but do not quote me on that. Thanks so much for all the love and support, and remember Jake and I will be at Brony-Con in Baltimore! While he has a panel with a ton of awesome guys I am going to be walking around and poking my head into a few places. While there I will be more than happy to answers questions about Auction, Rider, and future projects I am working on!

Please comment soon so we know what to do!

sounds good to me.

A three pater sounds good to me. You may release part 1 when ready.

Personally I'd be fine with either way. I'd slightly prefer the 20k version, simply because I like to have longer sittings with enjoyable writings. But then again, I still could wait with reading after the three parts are fully released.

From a more serious pony-words-pov I'd advice you to separate it. Simply because online-communities love frequent output. It doesn't change the story itself but simply is a thing of marketing. Also, 3 chapters means getting into the updated-section 3 times more often. Then there is the lowered pressure on you, as you won't have the feeling to get finished already after hitting the 10k+. Patient folk usually isn't against the frequent solution, while the impatient folk surely dislikes the long version. Being separated into three chapters may or may not also makes it easier to keep track of whats happening for you and your editors, taking away some possible confusion. Then again, having nothing released before the part is finished altogether, you still can go back and change stuff in late phases without bothering to mindfuck your readers.

TL;DR: separated chapters would make everything easier and perhaps slightly better.

But we write pony words and don't have to follow the rules of capitalism. Do the long version I say!

Splitting it up is best so as to have time to work on the next one while the first of them is being edited.

A three-parter would be preferable, 20k+ word chapters are just way less convenient to read and work with.

Split it

three parts works for me, but which ever ends up being easier for you is cool with me

What is more efective to both of you! :raritywink:

I have no problem either way, whatever works for you guys.

Three parter all the way!

Go ahead and put that chapter into 3 parts.

Either way works for me.
But i generally like BIG chapters
BIG BIG Chapters

Whatever gives me more to read.

Multi-part chapters. Easier to read and probably easier for you to write and edit.

I like it when the word counts of each chapter are around the same ballpark as the other chapters. Seems like there's more unity that way.

I don't mind 3 parts

I love big charters ... and I also like lots of chapters - I am so helpfull! :trollestia:
