JustAnotherTimeLord

I travel space and time, searching for perfection, for safety, and for purpose. I may never find it, and I may get lost, but the important part is the journey, not the destination. Enjoy it or remiss.

    It's Been a While

I don't think I have really touched this site in a while. I keep getting notifications for replies to my comments on mainly the Austraeoh series, but I . . . well, I still wonder about this place, about everyone still here and how everyone is doing, in their literary pursuits and their personal lives, assuming we got to know each other well enough.

    6 Years

I . . . I honestly don't have much to say for this one. There aren't very many things I can say I've done for six years. Working? Nope, I started in 2013. I played percussion for seven years. I've played on Xbox Live for seven years, almost 8. I've been on YouTube Since 2009. Meh, that's whatever, I guess.

    Power At Last!

Well, it's been an entire month without power. Somehow, someway, I have been without any connection to the outside world for that long, and it's been hard. 0/10, do not recommend. :rainbowwild:

    Foalcon Fiasco Followup

So I'm done with my commenting on the newest FiMFic Drama Showcase, and I thought I would give some after thoughts and maybe elaborate my feelings on the subject in a less emotional way. Needless to say, I have gotten a little angry with how things have progressed in terms of discussion, and I've reached my limit. I'm letting it go, but here's what I have to say on the matter to end this one for

    Little Witch Academia

I find it funny that I am making this post as I am about to watch the last two episodes of Little Witch Academia, and I still haven't watched the season finale of MLP. Don't spoil anything for me! :rainbowwild: But, yeah, I am basically ass backwards right now.

Once Upon a Midnight Dreary · 8:31am Jun 11th, 2014

You know, I still view this story as a failure overall at what I was attempting to do. I think that if I had tried a little harder, the story could have ended up being pretty good. In fact, Shadowflash said that it was a waste of a good idea.

And yet this story has now reached over 2,000 views, but it still stays as my worst story overall. I have never understood that. Why do people keep on reading my failed story? Should I actually pursue a rewrite to make it worth those views? I don't know.

But guys, thanks for the likes, faves, and views. I still love the story as much as I do my other more successful ones, and I have learned so much since I released it.

If anyone wants me to revisit this story, I just might. Give me some feedback.

Some people wouldn't call a 58:8 story a failure at all.
Then again, you aren't some people. You aren't even most people.
I think I shall read it and give you some feedback.

Well, in comparison to my other stories, it has the most dislikes and the least likes. People also (while I liked it) misconstrued the point of it. I mean, I left it open ended, but even I wouldn't come to some of the conclusions drawn. It also received constructive criticism the fastest. In fact, I believe it was the third comment. While it was helpful, it did wonders for my self-esteem. :twilightblush:

59:8, as of this morning.

personally, I think the speed with which you receive such constructive criticism is indicative of the genre you write, not the quality. Some genres receive much more attention than others, which results in those who seek out the lesser-known genres(or less well-liked) tending to get to trying to help improve the works of those who try to write them much faster than others.

Tragedy is, of course, one of those genres.

It's been on my RL list for a while. The blog just kicked in my drive to read it.
That, and he gave me good feedback on my own story in return :raritywink:

If I knew he was accepting bribes to read stories, I'd have done that ages ago!
