I watched EA's press Conference with three things on my mind; BattleFront, Battlefield Hardline, and DICE. Now that doesn't mean I completely ignored the rest of the press conference. There were some interesting that did catch my eye such as Mirrors Edge and Criterion's new game.
Still though, I am a Star Wars nerd. For EA to open their press conference with BattleFront (One of my favorite games of all time) was simply perfect. Needless to say, it got me HYPED! I am sad that they didn't show any gameplay but from what i did see the game does look gorgeous and seems to be faithful to the original Battlefront series.
The rest of the conference went back and forth for me until they got to the end where they showcased Battlefield Hardline's multiplayer. I know DICE has gotten some what of a bad rep these last six months due to how buggy Battlefield 4 but I still am faithful to them. In DICE I Trust and if what they showed of Hardline was anything to go off then fans are truly in for a treat this fall. That is if DICE and Visceral can learn from what happened with BF4.
Speaking of BF4, I am a little disappointed that DICE or EA adressed the problems with the last iteration of their flagship franchise. I know DICE has publicly said they were sorry for how they shipped the game but still, they should of apologized one last time as closer at E3.
