It is Wednesday.
I have decided to blog on a regular basis. I see all these authors doing blog posts about stuff and I'm thinkin' I should do some shrimp like that. So here we are.
What can I say? I have two series running that I am very pleased with. Lugnut has been writing itself nowadays, but Cocoon is a labor of love. I also have some one shots on the side. Most of them are just in the planning stage, but I do have two stories that are half-written and will never see the light of day. I will probably re-write them later as different stories.
ANYWAY,
I really don't have much to talk about because my readers (you know, the people who think I'm entertaining and shrimp) don't talk to me much. There is one thing I remember someone saying that I'd like to address. Lugnut is getting close to the end. I can see it ending in four or five chapters plus an Epilogue. I friggen' love me an Epilogue. So hang tight for that.
Oh and a bunch of you were wondering why there is a Sphinx in Manehattan's sewers. It's because-

I've actually got a question for you guys. I am aware you are all good at looking at things with your eyes and determining whether it pleases you or not, so I wanted to ask you about the art that I've been doing. The style is suppose to be quick and simple so I can chug one out for each chapter. I haven't been doing it for long, but I was wondering if you thought the little sketches add, subtract, or don't do anything for the experience as a whole. Any requests for me to stop making terrible art will be ignored because making you uncomfortable in any way, shape, or form validates my existence.

I know fellstorm likes it, seeing as he used my doodle as his thumbnail on The Prince and the Workhorse.
If any of you guys want me to do art for you, I'd be friggen' happy to churn out something amateur (pre-chapter quality, can be done in a mere hour) or something a bit better (could take a day or two) and I may or may not be happy to oblige. If your story/a story of yours rocks my socks, I would probably drop everything and do it. I have a deviantart, but there is nothing in it right now because I am lazy. I may give that to ya'll later if I do put stuff up there.

Yeah, so I'll do this every Wednesday unless everyone who is watching me tells me to shut my shrimp shoot and get back to work. Now get back to your pony.
By all means keep up the art. It's nice and simple and it evokes a style similar to that of Yahtzee.
I'm interested to see if Lugnut will ultimately replace Big Mac, and, to be blunt, make a whole family again with him as the father figure.
You're offering to do artwork? Perhaps thumbnails for stories here on FIMfiction? Ooooh, I always wanted to see art for my Luna's Story series. There's just not enough artwork of the Lunar Stallions out there...
