This one comes via arcum42, who volunteered to color a Star Chaser commission sketch done at Babscon (which Star didn't have the right pens at hoof for).

Star Chaser caught me editing, which is fitting considering the relative time I spend on that compared to writing. The picture also really captures the totally non-suspicious eyes, which is all Arcum's work.
Arcum has done some pretty amazing coloring jobs in his own right, but you probably know him better as a fellow fanfic author, since he has penned such tales as Cubic Zirconia (which briefly sat atop the site's Top Stories list until the tactical downvotes rolled in).
His latest story "Magical Filly Apple B" calls back to the show's magical girl roots, though with a much more tongue-in-cheek tone. Y'all need to head over there and spread the #MorePEF4 gospel with me, so we can get a groundswell of fan support to convince him to turn Unnamed Pink Earth Filly No. 4's cameo role into something much grander.

I may as well mention that I actually completed writing the next chapter of Cubic Zirconia Saturday, so I'm basically just getting some feedback on it and looking it over before posting. I'm breaking new ground in this chapter by actually having Apple Bloom and Diamond Tiara in the same room...

I figured you liked Magical Filly Apple B after posting about how Silvy makes the best villain when I put it up.
That opening is actually the oldest part of the story, and the part I'm happiest with, since it's a good study of SS.

It does work that way, doesn't it? The name pretty much flashed into my mind, then a wacky plot ensued, and I've been going from there.
A few people seem to think I'm doing Sailor Moon, of course, which is silly. If I was doing Sailor Moon, the theme song would have been something like:
