Book and story update · 6:27pm May 28th, 2014
Well folks... my novel is hopefully going to go live on Kindle Direct Publishing in around a week or so, at which point I'll be resuming work on Five Star Service - A Gentleman for Mares Tale. At this point, I'm just awaiting the completion of my cover art and a little more reader feedback, including putting the preview of the story up on some other sites, before hitting the publish button. I'm also seeing about doing a print paperback version, though that would be more expensive. Would be kind of cool to hold a copy of my book in hand, though...
As for Five Star Service, I made a promise to myself that I would not work on it again until the novel was done, reason being that I didn't want that used as an excuse for putting the novel off any longer. I haven't forgotten about it, rest assured. I will hopefully have a new chapter ready in 3-4 weeks and then resume getting them out at that rate.
Until then... in a shameless effort to drum up some interest and initial sales for my novel, I'm making the preview available for all. You guys know my writing style, so if you'd like to see what I can do with a full-length adult anthro novel, here it is:
Dominion Academy: Book 1 - Orientation (preview)
Both MS Word and PDF versions are available on site. If you want to give feedback, whether good or bad, feel free--I do listen.
Firesight out.
Wow, glad to know you're still working on Five Stars' story (was curious wheere you went off too. Hehe) anywho i hope your novel gets reaction you aim for (what is it about anyway? The title?)
As always - more power to you /)
Thanks, appreciate it. From my novel's virtual bookjacket description, subject to change until publication:
"When a brilliant young lioness named Kamilya Kampo came on staff at involuntarily integrated Dominion Academy as varsity basketball coach, she thought she knew what she was getting into--resentful students, jaded instructors and a mixed-race girls' basketball team that hated each other as much as they hated the school. Thrust into an integrated work environment and exposed to interspecies relationships for the first time, she finds that coaching her basketball team is the least of her challenges as she's forced to confront her biases and question her own sexual identity, discovering that she's neither as asexual or uninterested in other species as she thought..."
If that interests you, check out the preview.

I, personally, can wholeheartedly recommend the story. It's good, very good.
