Remember how I said the next chapter was going to be out around Wednesday? Well it won't be...
It'll be out tomorrow(well today being it's 12:32am right now, but who's counting). I'm currently going over it now and editing it. Final word count is over 8k which should more than make up the slightly longer delay in it showing up. I'm giving it another once over before I submit it, make sure all the bugs are worked out. You may notice that there's a few slight changes to chapter 1, I went back over it and edited it as well. And added the liability thing which is going to remain at the top of every chapter...I don't fancy getting sued you know.
This story has actually opened up another story idea as well. No its not a sequel, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it...and for now I don't think I'm going to tell you what my plan is...last thing I need is telling you the plan and then seeing at least 4 other stories pop up with the same plot line...
3 Max Payne stories is enough...although even I didn't see that one coming. I seem to have started something with this that even I didn't expect...well no that's not that true. I did expect it to happen, but not that quickly. Seriously, two Max Payne stories posted the same day? I have no idea of the content of either of the other two stories and frankly I don't want to know...lest someone starts saying I copied something the other guy did or what-have-you. Still this will be interesting to see how those stories do in relation to my own...nothing wrong with keeping tabs on your rivals now is there? :D

So much yes. This is a masochistic character in a fluffy world story I really have gotten into.
This is how Rainbow and the others probably look at Max when he attempts dry sarcasm.
Funny thing is what happens when I do edit the story. With the file uploaded onto this site (Uploaded, not published...going from Word to this format tends to screw my breaks and lines up, so I really do have to re-read it before it's published.) it was at about 7800 words. Now, after editing it's over 8100 words. And if I look at it hard enough tomorrow, that number will probably grow...as it is now, most of my weird sentences that seem to only make sense when I was writing the damned thing are gone...replaced by things that make much more sense.
Can't wait to see some badass bullet time shit and shootdodges in the next chapter.
