Tried it, didn't work. I burned off the alcohol too quickly, and I was keeping myself in check because it was the first time I'd ever gone drinking. Ever. Why is it so surprising when I mention I waited until 21 to start drinking?

Yeah, but everyone thought I was lying every time I said this. One would think it'd be more common.

And I don't think it was 'tolerance' per se, but rather that my metabolism took care of the problem with the help of a lot of water and food.
