My made up Brony tier system! · 10:14pm May 20th, 2014

Really this system could apply to any fandom, but for intents and purposes, I'm going to use examples relating strictly to Bronies.

Class E brony: High Casual

This type of brony has maybe watched a few episodes, looks at Brony pics and vids occasionally, comments ocassionally, but otherwise doesn't get too involved.

Class D brony: Casual Involved

This type of brony has watched at least a full season, recognizes a majority of the characters, and checks out brony material on a regular basis.

Class C brony: Involved

This type of Brony has watched a vast majority of the show and/or read some comics, may write fanfiction occasionally, may create art, make short animations, or may make music for the fandom itself.

Class B brony: High Involved

This type of Brony has seen every episode and/or read a lot of related comics, writes often, creates art often, makes animations, or makes music related to the show on a near daily basis. Has possibly attended conventions.

Class A brony: Fanatic

This type of brony has watched every episode multiple times, attended a convention or several, or contributes material to the fandom daily.

Note: for people who make video commentaries, they would fit into C or higher.

So, does anyone not agree with what I have here? I'd be glad to makes some changes for you, as these are just my opinions. ( And yes, I realize a 'low class' brony could have attended a convention.)

I would personally consider myself a Class B.

Me? Class C, even though I haven't watched much of Season 4.

It looks pretty good, I think I'd be a B to.

I'm a class B. Though I've seen every episode multiple times. Maybe a class B+?

I'd say separate the different characteristics of the tiers and give them each their own scales. For instance, there could be a super involved brony who attends conventions regularly, seen every episode so many times that he/she could recite them all from memory, and has read most of the official comics, but has yet to produce any material him/herself.

That aside, if you neglect the need to produce material himself, I'd say I'm a class B brony as well.

Also, what if you don't make much yourself, but you help a lot on others' work?

2129833 I used the word "or" a lot.

What level am I?

2129907 That is for you to decide, not me.

Class C definitially.

I'd say you contribute still. Helping is still a contribution to the fandom.

2130131 It's kind of implied.

I'm a Class C :yay::twistnerd::ajsmug::pinkiehappy:

High class C

Oh, and I have a system of ranking I use that is based on the 3x3 alignment chart from Dungeons and Dragons, as well as Let's Go and Meet the Bronies and a Saberspark guide video.

I will make a blog about it later.

I might fit somewhere between C and B.

I've watched every episode, some of the seasons I've watched more than once. Some episodes, like 'Luna Eclipsed', I've watched more than others.

I don't write fanfiction on a daily basis, and churning out works on a daily basis, would be impossible for me. I've got fics that I've been working on during the past year, but nothing completed. :fluttercry:

I don't read the comics, but I intend to eventually. As for right now, It would be too much to focus on in terms of fic-writing.

I occasionally inspect the quality of the toys (hair is all wrong) and flip through certain books at my retail job, but I make sure to not be seen doing this. I don't buy pony merchandise, and I keep the fact that I'm an MLP fan, to myself.

Most people known me is an alcoholic metal-head who plays a lot of videogames. The fact that I'm a brony, is my dark little secret.

2130560 Sounds like a B to me (and strangely similar to myself).

Wich class should I belong?
- Whatched all the episodes multiple times.
- Read all the comics.
- Read tons of fimfics.
- Don't like the official toys, but buys expensive 3D printed pony figures.
- Don't create any form of art, because I suck at it. :fluttercry:
- Hate EQG.
- Haven't attended to any convention, It haven't done in my country.

Maybe something related to A or B but not that much. I don't know. :twilightoops:

2130698 A bit of an odd case. I'd rate you as a B.

I forgot to mention that aside from reading fics, my brother and I watch a lot of PMV's. Particularly, while drunk or high.

My favorite PMV is, You Think you Know, a David Draiman/Device (the vocalist is known from Disturbed) song that is paired up with scenes from 'Princess Twilight Sparkle.'

I'm probably a class B as well, and by the end of the summer probably an A since I'll be going to a few conventions...

I think this list works perfectly

Class C I think.

Imma say a Class D if along a lower Class C tier lol
