This girl came over to my house yesterday, and I'm not quite sure how everything didn't just... fall apart.
She told me one of her worst secrets at work (it's so bad, I actually won't say what it is), and when she came over I asked about it in my usual, Surry way. After spilling her heart out to me (we had been playing guitar and violin), I finally told her everything.
Everything.
EVERY THING.
I was crying as I spoke. I've never told anyone that I was a brony, and I've been one since 2010. I was having a heart attack. Part of me was screaming at myself to shut up, but I continued, and I told her about you guys and how I loved you all so much. I told her about my writing, and how it has improved exponentially. I wondered if she would laugh at me (she was salutatorian when she graduated, perfect grades)...
... but she kissed me.
I was spilling my heart out, and she just KISSED me.
I nearly cried just from that. So many emotions I've had bottled up for years because of my bitch ex, and this girl just accepts my flaws (I'm an idiot compared to her), and kisses me.
We talked all night long. I've never had so much in common with anyone.
Surry has a girlfriend now.
I don't know if I want to break out the L-word just yet (never on a first date), but maybe a little down the road. We'll see. I think I can bring her to the herd as well, but she might need some time.
I've never felt more on-top-of-the-world. I feel invincible.
