HR2 delay

The next chapter of Hard Reset 2 isn't where I want it to be yet, and I'd rather release a late, good chapter than a timely bad one.

I'm pushing my publication date back a week, to Wednesday, May 28. This Wednesday, to keep something coming, I'll release another Ask Looping Sparkle column.

No problem. As much as I WANT another chapter, I rather have it later, but right, as well as something you are more proud of.

I have the same philosophy on video game delays, I rather wait 3 months or 6 months and have a good game than a broken one now.

We've already established that Looping Sparkle uses a 0-based numbering system for her loops — so when the story comes out on Wednesday, May 28, it will actually be the 29th day of the month, in your honor.

(seriously though I do want to stick to publishing on the same weekday, in order to keep people's expectations consistent. But happy birthday!)

Ask? Who needs to ask? I certainly don't. The powers that be are on MY side. It seems to me as if everything just fell right into place.

Why is that though? How did this come to be? There certainly wasn't any time loops involved, nudging people in just the right ways for it to work out pear-figgedly. Why one would have to be truly insane to consider wasting the potential for temporal shenanigans on something as irrelevant as this.
