Story Delayed...Again. · 2:55am May 14th, 2014
On Saturday I missed the finale on an hour and a half trip to my grandmother on my father's side to help out with the yard work, which of course took the entire day so as soon as I got home I passed out.
Then on mother's day I went to visit my grandmother on my father's side to do the same thing and pick up supplies for the house before finding out that my PC had crashed and had to be reset with EVERYTHING wiped; itunes, word documents, scans, completely erased.
So the progress that I DID have on the chapter of Shining Dash that I had been working on is nothing more than a memory-the only positive is that I was working on a section of the story with the notepad function of my ipod, so it's still salvageable-but, this was obviously a major setback.
And of course, the data on the disk for my wireless adapter had also been erased, so I was tearing up the house looking for it, yesterday I had an appointment to get two fillings in my teeth so I passed out again after getting home.
Today, I've had to waste time talking to my therapist getting further and further behind on the chapter I've promised you guys.
Of course, as soon as I upload the new chapter and it becomes listed under the recently updated stories section of the front page-those Plan 9 from Equestria 2 assholes will probably add it to their group so it can be torn apart-because wouldn't that just be the cherry on top of the rest of this fucking bullshit?
I keep re-writing the chapter and scrapping to start over again, but at this rate it seems pretty pointless as it keeps turning out like crap no matter what I do.

and honestly, the plan 9 stories are supposed to be ones that are so bad, that they're actually good, so if they're tearing stories up over there, it's not doing its job right
Sorry to hear things have been such a struggle in spots. Hope things are smoother in future. That said, saying you feel talking to your therapist is a waste, to me, feels like the wrong way to think about it. Their job is to help you. If it feels like a waste, maybe it's not the right fit? Or maybe you're not thinking about it in a beneficial fashion?
Still, I hope things improve. You deserve better.

They have a folder for terrible stories that many enjoy called 'inexplicably popular' with those that have at least one hundred downvotes and Shining Dash always seems to get 1-3 whenever its updated.
Not sure if they are trolls or people who genuinely disliking it for the shippings, the presence of Sunset and/or Flash, the story itself or something else, but they never say anything.

Yeah...I'm just paranoid because at this rate the story will reach 100 dislikes in no time, since it's already 26% of the way there.

If you're so worried about being criticized then you're in the wrong line of work besides, if you're so worried about having your story put into our group, then maybe you should stop writing stories that suck.

I should have phrased that better; it's not so much that I feel like the sessions are a waste as I feel that they are inconvenient because it seems like every time I get on a role writing something an appointment pops up and then I get sidetracked and begin to procrastinate after losing so much steam I had built up before it.
As for the latter-I'm not sure I deserve it but, I appreciate the sentiment nonetheless.
2119333 Well, you can be certain that I know you deserve it. I can relate to the frustration of getting really into project and then having to drop everything for an appointment. If they're scheduled at a regular time, can you maybe try moving the time around?

Regarding this plan 9 group if all they're doing is mocking folks, report them. Groups that just tear folks down aren't supposed to be here.
