There are good and bad stories and that is all. No genera is really "bad." There is just bad writing and overly done ideas that are pulled of badly. It's like saying all SCI_Fi fiction is bad and alien invasion stories are a crime. Are aliens in a lot of SCI_fi, yes. Is SCI_fi fiction bad, no.
This is in response to people hating on any one genre of fanfiction or fiction in general.
Thanks for viewing, I will get to some actual writing now.
You misspelled genre. "Genera" is the plural form of genus.
I have nothing against those who are biased against certain types of fiction. It's those who deliberately seek out the object of their bias in order to make their opinion known that I dislike. I myself have nothing but disdain for the "Scootamom" sub-genre. But if I see one, I don't rant and rave and blast it in the comments, I just don't read it.
People who think that something should not exist simply because they do not like it, are ignorant troglodytes.

When you say "Scootamom" which particular thing do you mean? Do you mean talking about a character's parents who aren't canonically present, introducing different parents for a canon character, orphan -X- stories, or stories where Celestia is the main character's mother but nobody knows about it?
