Status of the Stories and another tidbit.

I'm actually really pleasantly surprised with how well my stories have been accepted by everyone here. I didn't think they were going to be that good. I've been trying to write as much as I could recently because it distracts me from everything going on. Recently a friend of mine passed away from cancer. This hasn't been my first experience with a death of a friend unfortunately, but it was different being in New Zealand right now. Now I'm sorta afraid as to what else may have happened that I haven't heard about. My writing gives me a distraction from the worry. My school work doesn't really do much in that department, actually its suffered a lot because of all of it. I normally just harbor things close to my chest until it explodes or crushes me, and currently its doing the latter. Oh well, once I get home in a month I should be ok, but until then I just have the writings to keep me busy. And school work if I ever actually get to that.

But here is some updates on the progress.

The Bounty Catching, Freedom Dreaming, Winged Wolf Phenomenom

The next chapter is coming along. I have just about 800 words right now, but I'd like to at least double that before sending it off to MuzzledElk for beta reading. This chapter is taking a little longer than I was hoping because I'm trying to explain more of Zeta's motivations for doing stuff.

Of Claws and Hooves

I haven't gotten a chance to work on this one at all recently. My original plan for this story was to have it be 3 parts of about 4 or 5 chapters each. I'm just going to put it on Hiatus after I get the next chapter done and have the first part finished. I really like the story, but I have too many ideas for BCFDWWP (that's a long ass acronym) that I want to get down on paper.

Times in Ponyville

I started chapter 3 about a week ago, and I work on it periodically as more of a "I have writer's block on another story, so I'll add to this" basis. I think that's how I'm going to keep that story, since I want it to be more whimsical than the other two stories. So this one will get updated very sporadically.

I also have the ideas for another story going on, but I want that to be really well written, so I'm going to wait until the summer to even start writing it. As a hint though, it'll be my take on a Scootalove story, with what I hope is a decent enough twist.
