Season 4 finale, and also a brief update. · 3:03am May 11th, 2014
Despite being rather awesome, it looks like some nebulous point prior to the events of the season 4 finale is most likely going to have to be where show canon and fic canon diverge, as far as Star Trek: Pegasus is concerned. Twilight doesn't own a huge crystal tree in the ST: Pegasus future, for instance. And while Tirek (who is nothing more than vague myth in ST: Pegasus) may have been stronger than canon Discord, there's no way in hell he's stronger than frickin' Q. ¬_¬ Well, come to think of it, the point of divergence may have to go back even further, given that the Elements of Harmony are still around in ST: Pegasus and didn't get reabsorbed back into the Tree of Harmony as they did in the season 4 opener.
So, for the update... yeah, I'm still alive. Still looking for a job, though. More than a little bummed about that. That said, I haven't completely given up on writing more of ST: Pegasus in the future, even so. It's just that I'm still trying to get my life back into a semblance of order before attempting to get back into things like this, and I'm still not quite there yet. :/
Take as much time as you need, my friend. Trust me when I say that I am well aware of how much creativity can be forced to a necessary backseat to the demands of Real Life.
Here's hoping you're able to find a job sometime soon, as well as a greater feeling and order and stability in your life. Whether or not you return to writing, it's certainly understood that your personal well-being comes first.
