(Friendship) GIGA SLAVE! ((S4 Finale Spoilers))

So, the season finale... When exactly did the show turn Shonen?

Who cares? That superbattle was epic, and firmly smacks the typical archetype for a girl's show up down left and right.

Now, my thoughts:

I saw some serious Slayers Vibes in it there at the end. Especially when the hero calls upon a higher power to defeat the villain which controls ALL the normal magical power of the land.

You know... Giga Slave.

Only now instead of Lina calling upon the mother of creation to smack down the lord of destruction, it's Twilight calling the power of harmony with her friends to smack the creature that's eaten the magic of all the land.

Now I need crossover GIFs of Lina casting Giga Slave, and Tirek getting rainbow blasted, while Twilight uses Harmony and annihilates Shabranigdo. Because, hilarious.

Friendship is motherfuckin' epic. I think that point hadn't been gotten across by the producers yet.

Now I'm hoping season 5 is more lighthearted. A cute finale like "The Grand Galloping Gala" is something I've been missing dearly.
