    The Heralds of Luna

    Greetings, followers.

Yes, I know. I've been silent for months. I give no excuses. Life is as it is. For those of you who patiently await updates to my stories, I fear I must tell you that you will wait still longer.

Storms in the Desert (A working title)

Those of you who've followed me may have noticed the lack of activity on either Directive: Grow or Mal Keyye Ko Keizaal. I apologize for that - I've simply been lacking a desire to write lately. So it's with an acknowledgement of the irony that I give you a preview of coming attractions, as it were.

Greetings, followers.

Yes, I know. I've been silent for months. I give no excuses. Life is as it is. For those of you who patiently await updates to my stories, I fear I must tell you that you will wait still longer.

But, if you're interested, there is a little something else I've been involved in. There is this little gaming system called Pathfinder, which is essentially the 3.5 edition of Dungeons and Dragons, revamped and republished by the good folks at Paizo after Wizards moved on from it. My good friend GaPJaxie (who writes a damn fine story) tweaked some aspects and created three custom races: Earth Pony, Pegasus, and Unicorn. And called it Ponyfinder.

I've been playing. It has been glorious fun. And now you all can share in the fun! The logs of the new campaign are being edited to turn them into a story of sorts, if a somewhat strangely written one, and posted, right here on Fimfiction. What's the hook, you ask? Well.

Once, long, long ago, time had no meaning, friendship was a myth, and colorful ponies were the exception, not the rule. How long this lasted, it's impossible to say, because time, you see, had no meaning, and to try and time it was to assign meaning to meaninglessness. Eventually, though, two royal sisters found six artifacts of power, and removed the root of the problem by turning him to stone with a giant rainbow laser made up of friendship, love, and harmony.

It didn't quite fix everything, though. When chaos has ruled for as long or as little as it did, or more accurately, so completely that the world itself isn't entirely there, it takes more than just a rainbow laser to put it all back together, and there's a fair few creatures that aren't so enthused about a world of order of harmony. So the sisters put out a call for aid, a mustering cry, to raise an army to fix the world.

They got six ponies instead.

So begins the epic Heralds of Luna, which you can see by following that elegant and finely crafted link. Follow along with Little Seed the farmpony, Melrose the bard, Amethyst Shard, the warrior turned to glass, Ruby Blaze, who was raised by a dragon, Drawn Masquerade, who is better seen than described, and Thunder Struck, who used to have wings, as they answer Luna's call and set out to put the world to rights.

I hope you enjoy.
