I figure, since I've got nothing to post regularly at this point, I ought to start doing story recs. People like those, right? Well, regular or not, here's one I wanted to make sure people see.
Beyond the Wall was the winner of the last /fic/ writeoff, and boy howdy was it deserved. Filler crafted a very clear narrative voice and a tightly wrapped package of a setting, then rolled them up into a very chilling, haunting piece. If you like other takes on pony society, give it a look.

Depends.
"Other" as in variations on the original... OK.
"Other" as in completely different, inverted, or tainted... NO.
