A girl so bad at writing she took to learning how to write at University. How'm I doing so far? Yeah, I know-- I'm working on it, I promise.

    DreamWings Review-Sing of 'The Crystalling'

Hello, and welcome to my review of ‘The Crystalling’, the premiere of Season Six of MLP: FIM. Now, there are a few things I assume about the people reading this blog post: 1. You’ve an interest in the show, just as I do, and are diehard fans perhaps, which I am not; 2. You may have read some of my early fanfiction, in which case I apologise, I have tried to improve my writing since then; 3. You

S5, EP21, The Scare Master (Excuse me, sir, we appear to have a leaky pipe over here).

So, yeah, the Nightmare Night special was leaked.

Did I watch it you ask? Or did I wait for Halloween to roll around and watch it then?

No... I watched it now. I have no strength inside of me to wait until Halloween-- and I've never really celebrated Halloween properly anyway (especially in recent years when I became a recluse on that night).

Pony Profiles Is Released (I know, right? Who knew?

So, it's out... The stupidest, silliest thing I've ever worked on is here... and on YouTube as well.

    Yeah, have fun with that.

In all seriousness though, it was a lot of fun and I hope that shows in the videos. Thanks for listening, and thanks for being there on what feels like the longest journey ever (and if anyone finds my sanity, please point me in the right direction. Thanks).

The Start of Something New (not HSM, unless that tempts you here-- in which case, it still isn't HSM)

So, tomorrow Pony Profiles, a character review channel on YouTube goes live... and let me tell you, I'm terrified.

    Looking Back Through Time

So, I experienced a new kind of experience today. I looked through a lot of my oldest blog posts (circa, 2012) and realised... I have a strange voice... you know, as a writer.

I'm not particularly good at sentiment (which I already knew, as this is a regular occurrence) and I like to cover up any attempt at it with jokes, particularly jokes targeting myself.

Dream's Pros and Cons Listing: Frozen Pros · 11:21pm May 5th, 2014

This here is a completely opinion filled pros list for the film Frozen. You don't have to have the same opinions. In fact, I'm a very silly person who most people struggle to take seriously anyway. Enjoy.

PROS:
1. Beginning sounds like Lion King-- love that tune.
2. Beautifully animated snow.
3. Darn it. If my sister had those powers I'd be over the moon (no offence to my sister, but she's no Elsa).
4. I feel for you Elsa. Love your characterisation so much.
5. Songs! Love 'em!
6. The parents not knowing what to do with a magical child is realistic. Dream likes.
7. Excellent characterisation of parents (no, I don't think they abuse their children). This, paired with the sad music on their death makes me miss them.
8. The side characters/extras are the best things in the whole film. 'It's Queen Elsa's Coronation'. 'That's not my fault'.
9. I repeat: Songs!
10. There's food everywhere? Random FOOD ON TABLES!! I'd live there in a heartbeat.
11. Love Elsa's characterisation in the beginning. Her fear is realistic.
12. Anna's awkwardness when meeting Hans is sweet and great characterisation.
13. Elsa looks terrified when holding the ball and sceptre. Lovely.
14. SONGS! 'Own place' is cleverly put. Thanks Lopez'. On my phone it goes.
15. Dat line-- 'All you know is how to shut people out'. Great timing. Wonderful tension. Normal sisters.
16. Wesselleton remains in character throughout (I'll say why that's important later).
17. I WANT THAT ICE PALACE.
18. SONG Definitely didn't sing along to Let It Go-- again.
19. Good use of parents words during Let It Go. Also, Elsa's a jerk (a realistic jerk). She essentially just said 'screw you' to her parents.
20. Whilst I don't feel like they understand how changing your hair works-- I'm counting this as a pro. Elsa's hair change is magical.
21. Olaf and Sven are perfection. They stay in character-- they serve more than just their one purpose.
22. Anna-- I have to agree with Kristoff-- TELL OLAF ABOUT SUMMER, YOU JERK. HE'LL DIE IF YOU DON'T. That's like letting a child walk to a volcano thinking they'll gain special radioactive powers if they jump in.
23. Elsa not being able to escape her parents words right until the end is brilliant.

Cons will follow on the next blog momentarily. Hope you enjoyed.
