Too Far: Possible sequel? · 8:44pm May 2nd, 2014
Well... I was EXTREMELY hesitant about posting Too Far. Reactions have been... better than expected, really.
To those that enjoyed it, thank you.
To those who didn't like it, or felt I handled the story badly, I apologize that I wasn't able to entertain you, and I apologize if anyone took offense. It was not my intention. (This is what I get for posting a story I wrote in one day.)

Well, these leaves a remaining question: Should Too Far have a sequel? Several people have made comments to that end. I'd like to get everyone's thoughts on the matter.
Yes. I have no thoughts of the matter, just yes.
Too Far should a continuation, at least. What do I mean by continuation? How about starting from the time slip, but this time from Silver Spoon's perspective. Have her explain some of the events she witnessed and how her relationship with Diamond Tiara improves/deteriorates.

Beware making a sequel you didn't plan for.
The only things I thought were kinda awkward was how everyone acted like the fault was all with Filthy Rich. Sure, he definitely deserves some amount of blame, but DT was ultimately the one who made it happen. Also, It seems a bit strange that the Princesses have enough time out of their day for BOTH of them to personally come to Ponyville, even for something that serious.

Considering how you ended it, a sequel seems fitting. It would definitely reinforce the theme of the story: Everything has consequences
..the story was..quite painful.. for reasons of heartwrenching....
well........when you think about it the story does end on a somewhat of a cliffhanger,and I would love to see what you might have in store, so yea fire away!

There definitely is room for a sequel. As I mentioned in the comment I left; it could tell us how events unfolded? What was Discord's favour? all that kind of stuff.

Well, a world in which Diamond Tiara FINALLY gets the point about what she's doing is worth exploring.

Personally I believe that this would be a great FIC to expand on, but at the same time, I'm also really exited for another chapter of Walking Nightmares (I caught up with it at Sandvich and me and have been following it ever since) so alas, I'm am left conflicted, if you wish to continue with this story then you would have made an excellent choice. But if you were to ask my selfish side I would say something along the lines of...
“Get yo ass back to that desk and give me some more nightmares son!"
But that's only the selfish side...
Anyhow, your a bloody good author and should be proud of yourself and I'll be watching with anticipation.

I would love to see a sequel, but make sure you take all the time you feel you need on it. I have confidence in you to make a fitting sequel.

As mentioned in the comment I left, I say yes. ^^ The Silver Spoon perspective idea that was suggested is good too and could be mixed in with the alt. ending if he decided to do one taking place if Diamond didn't accept the offer or was given it at all. It also works with the time travel ending with Silver Spoon's POV on how Diamond's changing for the better.

But I would also love to see the original story posted again. It was a bummer that it got deleted. Any chance of it being reposted?
