Wannabe Scholar

Just an idiotic amateur who likes to read (and sometimes write) and is more interested in the fandom than the actual show... that's not strange, is it?

I'll need help (possibly another writer for this story)

Hi guys. What with Trump's presidency about to happen, I am trying to get as much stuff done as I can before anything happens. One story is, of course, The Seven Legendary Kamen Ponies.

Of course, to get such a huge project done alone is impossible, and I'll need help. I'll see if I can post it on a thread to let anyone know.

    Cancelling (some of) my stories

Hello, to anyone who is reading this. I apologize for not being on the site for a long time. However, I have sadder news regarding my stories: I will be discontinuing most of my stories on FIMFiction.

    Hiatus from Fimfiction.net

Hello. I'm just putting out there that I'm taking a break from Fimfiction.net for a while because a lack of interest in writing my stories (which has caused LONG delays in chapter updates), and I just haven't been invested in the fandom recently. Plus, I'm going to be busy with my job, so we'll see how that goes (and if I can tweak my schedule a bit). I don't know when I'll be back, but I do hope

Excerpt from my Bionicle/MLP story · 2:15am Apr 22nd, 2014

Hey guys! Last year, I posted on the Fimfiction forums an idea of me writing a story involving a crossover with Bionicle. However, I haven't had time to write enough words to post the story due to classes and other stories. I do plan on posting it... but I have no idea when that's going to happen.

I do understand there are those who are interested in reading my story (which is surprising, really) so I'm going to put out this preview. I hope it works out for you guys. If you have any comments or criticism, please let me know and keep it civil.

With that out of the way, here's the excerpt!

Many thousands of years ago…

Night had fallen over the Everfree Forest and the moon shone brightly on the tree tops. The constant chatter of critters echoed across the forest that spread out for miles and miles, with no buildings in sight. The lush vegetation covered almost every inch, save for a lone and dark cave.

Inside the cave, were two figures; one of them was a bipedal figure in a robe, patient waiting near the wall of the cave. He stared at his compatriot, an alicorn whose lavender coat made her stand out in the shadows. The alicorn in question kept her gaze on the ground as she shuffled a pile of dirt around with her hoof.

“Is everything ready?” the figure broke the silence, his ancient voice only a whisper.

After patting the ground with her hoof, the alicorn nodded. “The seed has been planted. I just need to add the final adjustment…”

With that said, she lowered her head, and her horn shone brightly. Purple energy lanced from her horn and struck the ground. Then, the alicorn trotted back from the pile of dirt. Both she and the robed figure just stood and waited.

Then, the small pile of dirt rumbled ever so slightly, as small roots sprung out before borrowing deep into the ground. Finally, a green stem emerged with a small leaf sticking out.

“It’s finally done,” the alicorn sighed with a small smile. “It will only be a matter of time before the tree grows.” She turned to her compatriot. “I can’t thank you enough for your help.”

The figure smiled, or she thought so. It was too dark to tell. “There is no need,” he told her. “It is I who should be thanking you. This experience has been fascinating.”
The alicorn was silent, hesitant to say anything at first. “What will you do now?” she finally asked.

“I will do as I always have: wait. It is all I can ever do,” the figure spoke. There was a hint of sadness in his soft voice, one that almost went unnoticed.

“And what about protection? It will be matter of time before…” the alicorn began but her companion cut her off.

“The Toa will be there to protect you and your subjects until you’re ready. You do not need to worry,” he assured her.

“Sorry,” the alicorn sheepishly smiled. Her smile wore off as she looked down. “I’m sorry I couldn’t help you and your people.”

The robed figure sighed. “Our time already passed long ago. You have seen it yourself.” He turned to the plant. “But it is not all lost. At least, my race can leave something good behind.”

The alicorn raised her head, but before she could say anything, electricity crackled around her body. The robed figure himself noticed a white light slowly engulfing the alicorn. Neither were surprised as they recognized what was happening.

“It seems the time-spell is wearing off. I have to return,” the alicorn bowed her head. “Again, thank you for your help.”

The robed figure bowed back. “And thank you, Princess Twilight Sparkle. Farewell and have a safe journey.”

“You as well, Master Angonce,” Twilight smiled, and the white light winked her out of her existence.

Now, the one known as Angonce found himself alone in the cave. Once again, his gaze went to the small plant at his feet. It seemed like nothing but it would grow into something magnificent in time. The Tree of Harmony, Angonce remembered Twilight calling it.

To Angonce, this Tree of Harmony was a memorial, a reminder of him and his people. The one last thing he could leave behind. “The last legacy of the Great Beings,” he whispered with a shadowed smile.

Turning around, Angonce left the small cave for the lush vegetation of the Everfree Forest. There was much work to be done and he only just started.
