Twilight for the role of Artemis just seems a bit too pat to me.
I'd honestly switch the parts of Twilight and Applejack, or better yet, have one of the actual foal characters given a chance to shine.

Well... I guess it could work. Trixie as Foaly and Shining Armor as Trouble Kelp would be fun, even if I can't imagine how it would work...
To be honest, I've always pictured Twilight Sparkle as Foaly.
