For the fourth installment of random MLP castings, I've decided to cast the MLP characters in my second favorite television series of all time: Avatar: The Last Airbender. Here's the list!

Rainbow Dash as Toph Beifong
Garble as Zuko
Princess Luna as Iroh
Queen Chrysalis as Azula

Sunset Shimmer as Zhao

Oh my gosh! That's so perfect.
But Twilight as Katara and Spike as Aang would mean they would be like together.
Shouldn't Trixie be Zuko though?
And Sunset Shimmer should be Azula. Prince Blueblood could be Zhao.
You know who would be better for Toph. Scootaloo!
Actually Fluttershy should be The Earth King, because they both have bears. I think though Fluttershy herself would just have a lot of fun roaming the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. That should be a crossover story.
Then Rarity could be Suki.
Now, I can't stop picturing Gilda with a sprig of wheat in her beak.

I thought about casting some of the past Avatars but I decided against it because I mostly wanted to focus on the main characters and some of the major secondary characters. Then again, when you think about it, Roku is a pretty big recurring character. Maybe I should have included him.
I dunno. I guess I'll just put it here. Either Princess Celestia or Star-Swirl the Bearded as Avatar Roku.
It's so crazy it just...might...work
However; the real question must be asked:
'will any of these brilliant little crossover ideas you've come up with ever be further fleshed out'

These lists aren't for planned crossover stories or anything. They're just a series of blog entries I've started where I cast MLP characters as characters of other shows, books, movies, games, etc.
A shame; some of the things you've come up with are fairly brilliant.
I dig the sharing of your imaginative wanderings though!

Incidentially, one of the best crossover type works I've found was of the original Baulder's Gate D&D style RPG computer game.
And if you've ever played Mass Effect, and feel like blowing your mind.....
I can still privately hope you'll end up taking one of your ideas for a spin, like these two did.
Even if not, you potentially spark the creative urge in others!

Yeah. I decided to change Spike to Pipsqueak. I had originally considered Pipsqueak but I initially chose Spike because...reasons. I dunno.

There's only one tiny flaw in an otherwise flawless cast, does this mean that 'Kataang' is out of the picture, thanks to Pip and Twi being radically different ages?
And I'd also kinda wonder if Sokka's sarcastic, goofball character would fit in much nicer with Spike's snarkier characterization. It's not really a problem, so much as a point of curiosity.
On the plus side, there's now a chance for Derpy to say "My MUFFINS!!"

He does call himself "Wang Fire" whilst having a moustache (along with a full beard) at one point. Fire=Dragon.
