To Whom It May Concern. . . (stories, personal, updates)

Dear Reader,

I am pleased to announce that as the third place winner of the Expository category in a district Speech meet, I will be heading to the State meet later this month as an alternate in said event. I suppose that says something about my writing skills.

I have nearly finished my notes for a new story idea, and I will have probably started drafting the story next week. I can't provide you with any details yet, other than that it will be a one-shot prequel to a longer story to come.

An update for all you Elements of Randomosity readers: no, I have not abandoned the story. I've been very busy, but my commitments are beginning to draw to a close and I will have more time to work on writing it, as long as I have the motivation. I swear to you, no matter how irresponsibly infrequently I update, I will finish the story eventually.
