Hello everyone, Young Quill Master here with some bits of news. In truth, I was going to release this news a few days ago, but that would have placed it on April first, and we all know what that would have done for the credibility of what I am about to say. And so, with no further delay, on with the news.
First, concerning the 'My Equine Adventure' series. 'Sons of Equestria' is still halted because of several complication, including, but not limited to: writers block, lack of interest in writing it, and focusing my efforts on writing another story. So, as said before, I will not be putting up my none existent chapters of the story up for a little while. I would like to present my sincerest apologies to all those who have been waiting for a new chapter all this time.
Next Point concerning the same series. What was the purpose behind writing them if I was going to leave the second book so close to finishing without actually finishing it? Well, quite simply, they were just a writing project. I started writing it to see what it was like to write a HiE fiction, and so we got that. Also, I was testing how it was to write in first person, since before then I had always written in third person. I was also was testing out peaceful conflicts, as in a conflict with no bloodshed, such as the conflict presented in the book. So, yeah I think we have covered the basics of why I did what I did. 'My Equine Adventure' was in no way purposed to be my flagship book or series in any way, unless you say it was the flagship of the HiE fics I might write latter on. All in all, I am glad I did write them because they helped me to become a better writer because of the criticism people gave me on occasion that became applied to anything I write. I thank everyone you gave me critique on the stories; by your actions the story I have been working on has been made that much better.
Now, for the final snippets of news. We all know, at least if you read my blog posts you do, that I have been ranting on and on about 'Darkness of Ages' and the series I planned on creating from it. Well, here is something for you all to chew on, the Prologue is coming out next Saturday, April 12th 2014. That's right, I just dropped the ball on everyone, more so on the editors because I'm actually cementing the idea now, with only seven days to go. A new chapter will be put up, hopefully, every other week, meaning Chapter 1 comes out April 26th. And in related news, I would like to thank my small team of people for their hard work proofreading and editing my story until it actually looks acceptable. Be sure to go over their way when you can.
