Yeah, it’s me again. Hello everyone. This is the “Fantasia Archsage Reivew” or the “FAR” series, and I bring you guys a story that I thought was pretty interesting, “A Creature Of The Dark”. Upon reading the description, this story was written for a nightmare mare best pony group contest that was being held. I’m not sure if it’s over, but I must say it’s a pretty good read. I would actually vote for it to be a runner up if it’s still going which I’m not actually sure about.
Now to the reading, the story was actually written very good. It had great narration for a one shot that basically told what happened as Luna was trapped on the moon pretty well.
I definitely liked how the “creature” was given good character being told along the same line with the return of nightmare moon. The author took me into the story and gave me an understanding of the story through the eyes of this creature, making me feel different and made me look at the story from a different perspective.
Reading through the story, it was at first like hmm, I didn’t a repeat, but the author somehow didn’t have me experience the same story although we all know the story. It was interesting see it through the creature’s perspective and in the end, it turn out to be great. A different ending that really had me thinking this should be canon and added to the actual story.
Wait, wait now hold your ponies, everyone is entitled to their opinion so I have all rights to my own opinion. No rebel? Okay… looks like I gotta get some better lines.
Anyway, the overall story was great. If you looking for a different look on the same story, I say check this one out. It’s not a bad narration all. I enjoyed the read. I also like how the prison was described in the story, heck it takes me forever to come up with things good when describing places I want to write out.
Welp, got nothing more to say. This is the Fantasia Archsage Review or the “FAR” series and I brung to you “A Creature Of The Dark” Which was written by Xhoral1865 and reviewed by Fantasia Archasage (me). Go follow this author with great potential and give the story some love.
Since the was a narration, there wasn’t much to point besides the great narration, hence the length of the read.
Now this is my review of the day. I might try to get out two more. I don’t know how next week will go by I might become a lot slower with the reviews, but I definitely won’t stop. There are an uncountable of reviews to come. So you guys just stay tune till the next review.
