Okay, so I've been thinking about getting a more advanced video game console for myself, since my Wii, as awesome as it is, is getting on years, and also, there's a bazillion awesome games that don't play on the Wii (looking at you Batman: Arkham series)
So, here's the question for all my followers who are gamers:
Which system is better overall?
The XBox One or the PS4?
Which has better speed, better software, better realiability, better gaming experience, better support, etc, etc.
Obviously this is a big deal, since both consoles are very expensive, and I don't want to spend $500 on a console I'll end up hating.

Wait til summer to buy one of them. By then the price should drop and the playstation store should have the ps3 games on it.
I'm more of a PlayStation guy, so the PS4 is what I'm going to get next. I can't really give a definate comparison between the two, so you go with whatever you choose.

1977341 Problem is that only Ninendo allows you to play older system games on the new system.
the PS4 can't play PS3 games, and the XBox One can't play XBox 360 games.
I have no access to or experience with consoles of any kind, so I can't help you there.

1977358 Yes but sony is trying to put up all the things on the ps3 store on to the ps4 store. They should get it done by summer. Also you could do what I did get a wii u while you wait for the xbox 1 and ps4 price to drop.
Can't say; for the nonce, I'm last-gen and PC. At least Arkham Knight's gonna be on the PC.
Can't really say much but PS4 did take the interest rates since it's release.
But I can't say for certain about the future until there are more game selections on either side and since XBO is taking in a rise in interest thanks to Titanfall, you can bet Both consoles are back to battling it out once again.
And thus a long a bloody war started that waged for centuries, until both sides had forgotten what cause it was that they fought for...

It depends mainly on what exclusives you care more about, as they're both pretty good consoles. I'm a huge Halo fanboy, and Titanfall looks great, so I'll probably get the Xbox One when I can. However, I understand Kingdom Hearts 3 will be on PS4, and several series have already released new installments for it, like Infamous: Second Son.
1979653 well, I know that the xbox can play netflix, youtube, skype and/or hulu while your actually in the middle of your video game.
PS4 can't do that...

PS4 controller has touchpad
PS4 game library are better game
