    You Might Smirk at This

A few years ago I carved myself the shape of a promise.

The promise was to include an amount of poni in my Master's Thesis. Anyponi, someponi, everyponi – just not no poni.

Essays Are Magic V: On Cruelty (And Enjoying It)

Recently I dipped my hoof in novel ground by writing a pair of fics: the Dragonshys “Gone Wrong”. The novelty of the pieces was due to their violence, which was sexual and fetishist in nature. The response was overwhelmingly negative, as was to be expected. Nevertheless, the whole business, and especially the discussions undergone in the comments, got me thinking.

M.A. LARSON HAS MADE HISTORY (S5E9 SPOILERS)

This is no joke, no exaggeration. I mean it. M.A. Larson has made tv-history. And now I’m going to explain why and how.

Today’s episode (S5E9/100th). It was Awesome. Beyond Awesome. You know what I mean. But that is not the point. The point is that this type of Awesome was unheard of. Prove me wrong. I dare you.

Another Magical Essay? But about What? You Tell Me, Literally · 7:50pm Mar 30th, 2014

Ever since finding this group, I've tried to keep alive an essay series called "Essays Are Magic" (such nifty, very generic). Consisting of whole two essays, the project can only barely run away with the label "series", but the point is that it's something I've gradually grown fond of. And it's about time that I begun considering getting a third branch for my pet tree. On some level, I'm sure that analogy makes sense.

This time though, I could use a bit help. If some/all of the following topics intrigue you, that is, you could perhaps have a casual conversation about them via Skype or PM, please, let me know.

1). Ponies and the concept of destiny.

2.) Ponies and their understanding of (and relationsip to) nature.

3.) Friendship as an ideology (that is, as a supramoral foundation of ethics) in the context of FIM.

4.) The figure of Discord and/or Nigthmare Moon.

5.) A topic of your choice that has something to do with ponies and philosophy.

Let the dialogues commence.
