Another chapter of Overture done and done! The story is almost over, my friends.
So since FiMFiction has a nasty habit of going down when it's least convenient for me, I've decided to get a Tumblr to start announcing all my latest updates, sneak peeks, news updates, etc. It's called The Writer's Desk. Don't worry, I'll still post anything important or relevant here, but most of the snippets of unfinished or unreleased work will be on the Tumblr, along with some other work of mine and various other MLP-based items of interest. If any of you have Tumblrs, head on over and follow me. If you don't have one, you can still go ahead and bookmark the page or leave any comments/questions still. I left it all very open ended.
So you know what I've really gotten into lately? Arma 3. In case you haven't heard of it, Arma is the flagship game for a military simulator. I am very cautious to use the term "game" with it, because it really is more like a realistic military sim that you can immerse yourself in. The game takes real physics and laws of science into account, creating a world that not only relies on actual knowledge of ballistics to even fight, but also topography and navigation, day/night cycles, varying weather, and an array of other factors when conducting operations. Just like in any scenario, you need to rely on teamwork and role diversity to accomplish missions and objectives with your team. I don't know how many of you fellow gamers or military enthusiasts out there have heard of or already play it, but I am hooked. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, check out the vid below.
With friendship and magic (and what is likely an unhealthy affinity with the Armed Forces),

I want arma, to bad my laptop is a piece of crap when it comes to gaming.
