Things I hate, Pt. VIII · 3:25pm Mar 18th, 2014
Playing a hack of Pokémon FireRed called Pokémon Liquid Crystal - which is a remake of Crystal Version for the Game Boy Color - beating the Johto League, beating the Elite 4, beating the Kanto League, beating Red, going on a ton of new side missions while doing such, learning of an all new League in the Orange Islands, going to the Orange Islands, having fun with a brand new region and storyline wherein I am fighting trainers with pokémon that have levels hovering in the 90+ range, fighting a new team, Team Nexus, doing all this...
...and then having the game run out in the middle of the second gym city because it turns out that Liquid Crystal isn't finished.
Guys...not cool. If the Orange Islands aren't finished then don't include them in the release and just have the game end before I get the option to go to the Orange Islands. Drop all the hints that you like that they're coming, but don't actually include them if they're not done.
I was doing this rather than Tambelon...oh well, back to Tambelon, I guess...
I can never play those kind of games. There is always a problem that either causes it to crash or makes it so that I can never finish it. Oh well, I guess the Ponymon one was fun while it lasted.
The same issue is present in Pokemon Zeta and Omnicron, which uses the Gen III graphics. There's a ton of content, but you reach a point where part of the second region isn't finished yet.
That was what I spent all my time on last month...
Your OC seems quite disappointed, doesn't she?
Hacks suck. This is fact. Because of shit like this.

Actually, prior to the Orange Islands, Liquid Crystal is awesome. And even everything in the Orange Islands itself so far is fun as Hell. It's just that it's not finished, though apparently it does receive periodic updates.

Here's the problem:
How many hacks are released, but remain unfinished?

True. This one, at least, does seem to follow a fairly regular update schedule.
Gorger is pleased at this.
I play Warframe instead. It's like Pokemon but with cuter character designs.
